GENERAL

By purchasing from this website you are deemed to have read, understood and agree to accept the following terms and conditions. Hopwoods reserves the right to revise and change these conditions at any time.

These Terms and Conditions and your use of this website are governed by English law. The parties to any contract agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

No contract for the sale of any good will exist between you and Hopwoods until we send you an email confirming the order.


PAYMENT

We accept all major debit and credit cards with the exception of American Express and Diners Card.

If you prefer to pay by cheque, please print off an order form and send it with your cheque made payable to "Hopwoods" to: Hopwoods, 1st Floor, 181 Whiteladies Road, Clifton, Bristol BS8 2RY


DELIVERY

We endeavour to dispatch orders on the next day following the receipt of your order, but please allow 14 days for delivery.

We aim to hold stocks of all items displayed on our website in all sizes and colours. However, occasionally a supplier will become out of stock or withdraw a product without notice or we sell out due to high demand particularly at busy times like Christmas. In the event that an item is out of stock, we will back order it for you. We will email and or telephone you to let you know this and give you an expected date of dispatch.

If you are not happy with the expected delivery date you are able to cancel your order by email, telephone or in writing and receive a full refund for the out of stock goods. Any refund will be credited to the card used on the website to purchase the goods.

Please ensure that we have your telephone number so that we can contact you quickly if your order is likely to be delayed.


POSTAGE, PACKAGING & PRICING

All prices include postage and packaging - worldwide.

In order to keep costs and prices low we send the majority of orders by standard Second Class Royal Mail. Orders weighing more than 750g are sent by First Class or Standard Parcel. You incur no additional cost for this service.

All orders are despatched in a sealed waterproof bag so your purchase should reach you in perfect condition. If your purchase arrives damaged in any way, please let us know.

We regularly check our prices against our competitors to ensure that our prices are very competitive. In addition, we also offer a 10% discount for orders over £70.

All orders are charged for in £ pound sterling.


RETURNS

We want you to be delighted with your purchase. If you are not completely happy with your purchase, please return it to us within 30 days in a re-saleable condition (unworn or unused and in its original packaging) for a no quibble refund or replacement.

HJ Hall offers an unconditional 6-month guarantee on their socks and underwear. If within 6 months from the date of purchase you are not entirely happy with your HJ Hall product, simply contact us to arrange a replacement.

Unless the goods are faulty or incorrectly supplied we ask that you pay for the cost of returning the goods to us. We recommend that you obtain proof of postage from the Post Office when you return goods, as we cannot accept responsibility for goods that you send but do not arrive.

If the goods that we have sent you are faulty or incorrectly supplied, we will either replace them or provide a refund at your request. Please contact us to make arrangements for the return. We will either send you a stamped returns bag or credit your account with the cost of returns postage. You can choose whichever option is the most convenient to you.


CANCELLATION

You can cancel your order for any reason at any time up to the time of dispatch by emailing us at sales@hopwoodsonline.co.uk or by telephoning us on 0117 9742788.

Your cancellation refund will be credited to the card used on the website to purchase the goods.


SECURITY

At Hopwoods we take your security very seriously and want you to be completely relaxed about shopping online.

That's why our website uses Secure Sockets Layer technology (SSL) to ensure that your personal and financial information is secure at all times. SSL is the industry standard used by reputable websites to encrypt their customers financial information.

When we ask you to provide us with your personal and financial information you will be automatically redirected to a secure area provided by our payment processing provider Protx.. You will know when you are in the secure area as a padlock will appear on your browser. The URL will also change to https://.

Please be assured that your payment card details are not held on the server used to host our site. You will therefore be required to re-input them each time you shop with us.

Please note that we will never ask you to provide financial information via email. If you receive an email claiming to be from Hopwoods asking you to do so, please do not respond to it and contact us immediately.


CONFIDENTIALITY & PRIVACY

We value your privacy and understand that some of our customers feel especially uncomfortable providing their personal details to online companies. Please be assured that we have never passed on any information about our customers to anyone else. We have no intention of selling your details to others.

In order to process your order online, we will need the following information: your name, email address, credit / debit card number, expiry date and security number, the address to which the card is registered and a delivery address if different. Although not compulsory, we would also like to have your telephone number so that we can contact you quickly should there be a problem with your order that we need to discuss with you.

We will only use the information we hold about you lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

If at any time you no longer wish to receive correspondence from us, please let us know and we will remove your details from our database immediately.


COLOUR REPODUCTION

We have worked very hard to ensure that the colours of products shown on this website accurately represent the colour of the product. However, obtaining a perfect match for textured fabrics on a website is almost impossible. In addition, the colour shown on your screen will depend on your monitor. So please use the colours shown as a guide only.
